Last night my father informed my mom he will be finding an apartment, moving out, and filing for divorce.

    I will pray for you and your family. Do the best to control the situations you can. Follow your heart and your smarts in helping your family through this. Do not waste energy on your Father, he is not worth the time or trouble. Spend that energy on the ones who are hurting.
